...to the Gordon Lodge No 1726, and thank you for your interest. The purpose of this website is to provide information about the Gordon Lodge. It is aimed at members and fellow brethren that may wish to visit. However, if you are looking for more information on Freemasonry I strongly suggest you read this article entitled "What Is Freemasonry?".

There has been, and indeed there are still is, quite a few misconceptions about Freemasonry. We trust that the following few pages on our Website will help you to sort the wheat from the chaff, and discover more about this world wide brotherhood and the enormous amount of good, all Freemasons do within and outside their own various communities.

If you would like more information about becoming a Freemason, you can contact us by selecting 'Contact' in the menu above.

Our Lodge has a history dating back to 1878 when our Lodge was Consecrated. And that makes us the oldest Lodge in Bognor Regis. Select 'History' in the menu above for more information.

We strive to give all visitors a warm welcome and look forward to welcoming Brethren visiting Bognor Regis as well as those that attend another local lodge. Going to Butlins for a holiday? why not come and join us for an evening so we can show you good old Bognor hospitality. We would be delighted to welcome you to our meetings. Please contact our Secretary by selecting 'Contact' in the menu above.

Tradition

Over the past 130 years, the Officers and Brethren of the Lodge have build up a tradition of which we are justly proud. May we, the present Officers and Brethren of the Lodge, keep these traditions safe and pass them on to our successors so that the name of the Gordon Lodge No 1726 may be spoken of with pride and affection in the years to come.
